Backlash, a Cadre Fireblade from my Tau army, the Nemesis Contingent
The Fireblade is one of my favorite additions to recent Tau codexes. It's nice to have a cheap HQ that boosts the effectiveness of Fire Warriors. I HATE the model they made for him, though. The armor is nice, but the pose, lack of helmet, cape and LACK OF HELMET drive me nuts. This was a fun build, using the old Fire Warrior and new Pathfinder plastic kits. I actually made this guy for a kitbashing contest in my gaming group.

Agreed on the vanilla Fireblade. It's just one of those models that practically demands to be kitbashed, and I'd say you did a good job with this one, though he seems a bit plain. You ought to post some fire warriors too so we can see how this guy compares with them, to see how well he stands out. I'm guessing it's his fuller use of the white trim color rather than red, right?
